I've no idea what is going on with the clocks, but I really don't like them. I think such things are bound to be painful trickery.

I do like the new character asking for a guess as to it's species and origin.

And, I wonder why its not in pain, whereas Chief was in pain/agony.

Maybe I'm misremembering, but I think Ehuntonian demons don't have souls, so that might prevent Lore from keeping their souls from the afterlife.

They do look an awful lot like a demon, though.

I can't remember that. It's also not mentioned in the explanatory filler page about demons.


Also the font and blue background seems to speak for Demons to me.

And regarding the new, unconventional character Elli's been promising us:
This may indeed be the one.
A character that's by origin a Demon, but decided to be "good", or something like that.
I wonder how much exposure we'll get.
The exposure that Big Ears is a gay character was in-comic also only very short.

Being trans isn't about "deciding" to be something else. It's about coming to terms with who you are, despite how you look on the outside.

Ears was always gay (she tweeted about it years before it came up in the comic), and the point of him being "outed" is that it's completely unimportant. Irrelevant to the story. And of no consequence to the GAP. It's just part of who he is, and his friends accept that without hesitation. His liking hair (which goblins generally don't have and aren't attracted to), now that, they'll tease him about.

As for our new friend... I'm guessing it's a gargoyle.

Thanks for the link, WearsHats already linked it above too. So you're not the only one. I saw it back then too, but it slipped my mind in the meantime.

I'm not sure that everything Elli posts on twitter is also canon.

@Wears: I know it's not about "deciding". But even a Demon can be "good". And decided to follow this trait rather than the societal norm of "evil".


Also, I wonder in how far this character is the new character. It's dead, and just the soul remained caught on a face-like "skull-element".
It may well be the Goblins will use this character to find a way to free the souls from Kore.

Also, I find the study of "Socks" does not really fit the skull as shown in the current page.
Also, this character is not Socks, but Pawlush.

Maybe the name can give us a hint?
"Pawlush", could indicate fur, and of course paws, instead of feet and/or hands.

It's not named Socks and don't look at all like Socks. So I 100% agree this is something else.

Pawlush sounds polish to me. And makes me think of someone who is ringing bells and feeding dogs.

Yeah right, I got confused between the two characters which have the same face shape, same circles over the eyes and horns. Completely different.

This is the gargoyle. Elli changed the name and the design, big deal.

When they manage to get it out of Kore's lump perhaps it will have a design more similar to Elli's sketch, remember that we are not seing the true face of the creature, but the distorted face melted with Kore's skin.

ET[huntonian demons.

Are we still calling this flavour of DnD "Thuntonian", what with Elli changing her name? I assumed that's what Kirktopode was referencing.

Elli said she's fine with it being the Thuntonian Universe. She used to hate the term because she was uncomfortable having it named after her. Now it isn't. Thunt is in no way her name, so Thuntonian is free to just be a fun term.
