That said, on another hopeful turn, she looks bad, but her lip seemed to be moving slightly. Best bring that last healing potion quickly.

The explanation of "Seeing" was shortly after PsiMax first left the group (when a girl with no legs kicked a guy in the gut).

The "I See You" comment everyone refers to was in Thunt's Blog Post about his proposal to his lovely Danielle.

As I really don't want this sort of thing connected to any relationship, I'm going to suggest that we'll have quite a while before we get to "I See You" and that it will take place after Kin is resurrected by MinMax (well, by whatever Cleric MinMax finds, or whatever magical item allows him to cast Wish, or whatever).

After all, the FAQ does state Thunt speaking of bringing back the dead. It's hard, but not impossible. So... *crosses fingers and double-knocks wood*

As for this comic specifically: I'm pretty sure we just proved that PsiMax's WIS is a dump stat for sure (since he doesn't seem to realise how anyone else is feeling) as well as likely CHA (as he only takes a few seconds to try and be civil before he goes for the "most direct" solution).

Talking, no. Moving, yes. Notice that her hand is semi-clenched in panel 3, but isn't in any of the other panels in the top row. Also, her mouth is moving slightly in each of those panels as well. She's probably in shock.

There's no "Big Red Number Counter" in any panels, so she doesn't appear to be in negatives yet, though given how little of her body remains, and the fact that she seems to be bleeding out, doesn't bode well for her, especially since Forgath has to touch her to heal her, and neither she nor Forgath appear capable of getting her to the Mug, or vice-versa.

just throwing this out there, mabey psymax isnt evil. is it possible the maze has ended up getting stuck in a infinite loop were no team ever wins? and he is simply trying to end the maze so it sends everyone home? its possible he knows that even if he hurts and or kills other groups, their deaths don't matter they just reset at the end of the day. Its like a bad case of groundhogs day that no one but him can remember.

Even if she went straight past -10, Thunt would show it. She's not dead.

Well.. she moves her hand and mouth in hte first 4 panels.. but panel 5 is the excat same as 4... I would expect a -10 at panel 5.... but... ARGH.....

Many characters have died without showing -10, so that's no sure sign.
Her face doesn't show any change, eyes are wide open - she's either dead or in agony, or in Yuan-Ti healing stasis. Or she might be faking death to deprive Psimax of his hostage - remember she's as intelligent as Psimax.
MinMax definitely "saw" her. It's the only way he could have known about Kin's pain when her tail exploded.

Forgath definitely thinks she's dead.
Which means Psimax just lost the hostage he could have used to force Forgath into anything. I doubt Psimax is going to get anything out of him. Psimax will probably realize that very soon, and and instantly try something else (though I have no idea what that might be - force a maze reset).
MinMax might be in agony, either from her pain or from the knowledge she's dead. Ironically, that's probably his best bet for surviving the battle - all the combatants will go for the stronger perceived threat and ignore him while anybody else is left standing.
The helmet is no way out. It's been tossed around, it's under Psimax' control, and he thinks her dead so he won't even consider using it.

Wow. This is quite a tour, emotionally. In particular since nothing is definitive right now, and there are so many ways in which this might go horribly badly or wonderfully well.

And because I am still somehow wildly hoping that Kin will get to live... maybe MinMax shows up, wins somehow against PsiMax.. and goes and resets their own counter, so that they'll remember it?

I gotta agree with Avic. Her mouth is moving, therefore she's alive. Remember, Thunt takes hours to draw each panel. They don't accidentally look that way. He had plenty of time to notice he wasn't drawing the mouth the same each time. (Oh damn! People will think Kin is still alive!) Furthermore, the presentation of four nearly identical but not panels proves that the point of the panels is that the mouth is moving.

I don't know about the -3 or whatever. She might be at 1 HP and bleeding out. I can't even remember if DnD has rules for bleeding out until you hit zero. Anyhow a decent DM would do something.

No negatives, no -10. I still think she's alive, but just barely, and fading fast. I just want to see the look of surprise (and fear) on Psimax's face once he finds he can't affect Oblivious and then realizes just what the sword is/which room it came from. I don't think Kin's coming out of this alive, though, and I do think Minmax will be present for the moment she hits -10. Forgath might be able to close the wounds in the nick of time once Psimax is dealt with (preferably in one of those I Am Great moments) which at least would be a step in the right direction, and any step ahead is progress.

The point of the panels, imho, is that she's fading fast and grasping onto last moments of her existence. The eyes are telling us that she's realizing how much she would still like to do - go back to her clan, get closer to Minmax, see the sun again...

I was watching on live feed yesterday, Thunt confirmed verbally to us that Kin is not dead. In his own words "she is still taking breaths" during this scene. That's all he would say about it. I think the first words are coming from Forgath, but it took me a while to figure it out. At first I thought Psimax was mad that she made him do this - the now look what you made me do? But now I'm pretty sure it is Forgath.
