Goblins Minesweepers - A Grave Situation (Turn 4)

Post by LooksAndSmiles » Sat Feb 08, 2014 2:41 pm

Turn 4 >>Next Turn

Stumbles around digs up a grave at A3, revealing a "1". +1XP
White Metal runs through K9-K8-K7, revealing a bunch of numbers. Yes, looks like 2 of the same token works like a level 2 one. +3XP
Goska unearthes a "2" from K4. +1XP
Oh See That Shiny uses his Y-stick, and feels a gentle pull towards south-east. He then steps over to C1, which is a "3". +1XP
Questions Everything respawns on G6 and promptly inspects the statue. It is a man in a cloak that looks like some kind of priest clothing. Or maybe a wizard. Or a sorcerer. The face isn't too compelling, the more she is looking at it, the less she likes standing there. It's made of marble just like everything else. She barely pays attention to the "2" she has just discovered, though. +1XP (+1bonus)
Flags Mines desecrates yet another grave, finding a "2" this time . +1XP
Flags Fuses steps over to F3, uncovering a "4". +1XP
Tries-and-Dies flags J6.
Schnitzel keeps moving, this time to C8.
Blitz Craig moves to C5, finding another "2". +1XP

Dies sleeps in a little.
Explore-Randomly explores his dreams, too.

Goska moves to K5, where she acts like an egg timer going "Ding!" while spinning in a circle holding out her Y-stick. She, then, attempts once again to rescue Explore-Randomly.

Okay, I'm going to flag C7 D6.

New info, if I'm reading things correctly (and please tell me if I'm not, because my brain isn't in great shape right now), tells us C6, C9, C10, and D9 are safe and F7 and F8 are mines.

Questions, in a rare moment of self preservation, decides that slowly backing away from the creepy statue would be the best course of action and moves over to G7

Bomb free tiles: A4; B3; B4; C2; G5; G7; H7; I7; J7; K5; K6; L6
Bombs(not flagged):D1; D2; H4; H5; J6
... Oops. I misread the map. A7 exploded, and A9 & A10 are clear. Okay, that changes things. Thank you. Going to have to edit my action above.

But only one tile in range of F6 can be a mine. And the only available tile to satisfy the 2 in E6 is D6.

I might not get in a post for the next update. We're finishing up a big project at work and I don't have much time.

That list is by no means complete for the whole board. We also know D9, H10, and I10 are perfectly safe from mines while J10 is a mine.

If you check the achievements list, Goska already earned it for 5 tiles. The next one is a bit further away, and I'm not sure anyone sane enough would try to aim for that... :D

We don't even know what it's dowsing for yet. I doubt it's dowsing for mines. Until it's found something, don't count on it too exactly for information. And whatever it was pointing at was northeast, not northwest. I sent her northeast to gather more possible information. I think it's pointing in more a general than a specific direction.

My treasure sense said there was something to the East. The dowsing rod is probably homing in on that.
