Re: D&D 5e: The Lost Mines of Phandelver
If, when her turn comes around, Aimee isn't in melee range of a goblin she will hex an archer goblin and blast it with Eldritch blast. If no archers are up the closest melee goblin will get it.
Eldritch blast attack, damage+hex damage: 1D20+5 = [14]+5 = 19
1D10+1D6 = [8]+[4] = 12
If she is in melee she will disengage and move behind the wagon.

Re: D&D 5e: The Lost Mines of Phandelver
Having taken out the fearsome dragonborn in the beginning of the fight, the Goblins turn to the rest of the group. Unfortunately, their early success isn't mirrored once the party isn't surprised anymore. The first goblin with a bow fires at Calrick again, and misses. One of the goblins with a sword runs up to Balin, but his sword bounces off Balin's shield. Aimee, on the other hand, isn't so lucky, feeling the goblin's sword dig into her leg for 4 damage.

Muttering and yelping about his lack of foresight and preparation, Calrick fishes in his pouch, pulling out a strip of leather that he wraps around his forearm as he calls out.
" गवत कवच ! "
((Casting mage armor on himself.))
If there is a part of the wagon he can duck behind for cover from the archer's he'll do so.
((How far up is Lewis? He has the potential to harry an enemy to distract them using the help action.))

The final goblin fires off an arrow at the only target that has thus far remained untargeted. Thankfully, the arrow flies over Saca's head.

Aimee will raise her hand towards the goblin's chest, cast hex on him, and send a blast of force energy into the ground.
Eldritch blast attack, damage+hex damage: 1D20+5 = [14]+5 = 19
1D10+1D6 = [8]+[4] = 12
Eldritch blast disadvantage: 1D20+5 = [2]+5 = 7

Re: D&D 5e: The Lost Mines of Phandelver
Saca shoots her crossbow bolt at one of the goblins, the same one as Aimee, if it is still standing, else one of the scimitar wielding ones, then ducks behind the cart to reload.
(I'm assuming her roll is 1 D20 +2 as at the crossbow it says bonus +2, also rolled for damage, in case the shot connects)
Crossbow shot: 1D20+2 = [15]+2 = 17
Crossbow damage: 1D6 = [4] = 4

((Yes, crossbow and other ranged weapons use Dexterity. Since your Dexterity modifier is + 0, and you are proficient with it, your total is just to + 2 proficiency bonus. Generally speaking Saca will have more impact (pun intended) with melee or thrown weapons, as those use her strength. Your sheet also had an error, as the light crossbow does a d8 rather than a d6. I edited it on the sheet.)GathersIngredients wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2019 12:26 am (I'm assuming her roll is 1 D20 +2 as at the crossbow it says bonus +2, also rolled for damage, in case the shot connects)

Balin takes a swing: Warhammer attack: 1d20+5 = [1] = 6
After such a thorough wind up, he clearly telegraphs his action. His target easily dodges and he nearly spins himself around with the effort of his swing.

Re: D&D 5e: The Lost Mines of Phandelver
Saca attacks the goblin who attacked Aimee for 5 damage, wounding it severely. Nobody else has quite the same luck, their attacks missing. Lewis is helping by distracting the Goblin attacking Balin, Giving the next person to attack it advantage.
The Goblins fair similarly well. The first goblin with a bow, attacking Saca for 6 damage. The two goblins holding swords look at each other, trying to plan a coordinated attack to bring down both Balin and Aimee, but unfortunately fail miserably as both of their swings miss. Not only do they miss, the one attacking Balin accidentally hits the goblin who just swung at Aimee, who dies from the blow!

"Ha! Back you cretins!"
" आगो बोल्ट ! " , Calrick pops out and shouts the arcane word and flicks his fingers at the goblin that Lewis distracted, a mote of fire flying from his fingers and striking his target. If he was able to duck behind cover last turn, he'll do so again.

Re: D&D 5e: The Lost Mines of Phandelver
Aimee will blink at the now dead goblin in front of her then smile, switch her hex to an archer goblin and loose a blast of Eldritch energy.
Eldritch blast attack disadvantage, damage+hex damage: 2D20.LOW(1)+5 = [8, 10]+5 = 13
1D10+1D6 = [8]+[5] = 13
((Don't know if there is still a goblin in melee of Aimee so here is the roll with disadvantage, it's a 13 to hit either way!))

Re: D&D 5e: The Lost Mines of Phandelver
If the crossbow is loaded already again, Saca shoots another bolt at another goblin (preferably a ranged weapon one and an injured one, if there are any).
Crossbow shot & Damage roll: 1D20+2 = [10]+2 = 12
1D8 = [4] = 4
Else she will get out her shield and warhammer and go towards Kryz as far as she can.

Re: D&D 5e: The Lost Mines of Phandelver
Quick update because I'm heading out to Dinner.
The defenders have finally got their act together in combat, as Aimee kills one of the ranged goblins, while Saca wounds the other. Meanwhile, Balin kills the goblin that was bothering him. The last goblin holding a bow looks at the group it is facing, and runs back into the woods as fast as it can.
