Hey, check the little crack on the floor right next to the door. But be carefull, there might be triggers for traps.

Take the fishing line, connect to one of the bullets.
Try to hypnotize yourself into remembering who you are and what going on.
You could look at this video for how to do hypnosis:

Wait...the year is 1987.You don't have internet connection...nevermind.

Forget the talk about the internet... but it would be useful if you'd remember who you are. Anyway, retrieve the line and go down the new corridor.

Unfortunately you're going to be right in the fatal funnel when you go down the corridor. If that guy with the gun comes in behind you there's no place to hide in that narrow corridor and you'll get holes in your nice outfit. Can't have that as we have a gala to attend later, ol' chap!
As such, load the propelled flare and enter the corridor. Close the door you've just opened behind you. If you can lock it from the inside, do so. Proceed down the corridor with flaregun at the ready and stay close to the wall as you proceed. If you hear the door behind or in front of you open then immediately turn to face the door which is opening and drop into a kneel because will reduce your visual signature, increase accuracy and steady your aim. Ascertain whether the person opening the door is a threat and react accordingly.

Still playing it like Micheal has mad military skills he has yet to discover. And what good does attaching the fishing line to a bullet do?

I would advise caution rather than blindly running. We missed the claymore that killed you before and that was at walking speed, who knows what traps could lie ahead?

check if the key fits into the keyhole of the door. If you advance to the far end of the tunnel, pay attention to any trip wires. Not that you end up like that guy you found earlier. You know, the one who looked like you, except he exploded.

No wait, leave it there. Just try to remember the parts which are missing on the map you already got. Just in case you...well, just in case.
Then sneak up the stairs and try to listen if you can hear anything. If not, shout "hello, anybody there?" while staying on the stairs, so possible gun fire cannot hit you.

Compare the new map to the map you already have. Take it if it has new info on it. Then, head up the stairs and open the door. Be careful, there may be someone crazy beheind the door.

I think there is somebody crazy on the stairs right now. I mean he seems to be hearing voices at random times. Really stupid voices.

Do the fishing line/hook door opening trick again, this time lay down on the stairs so anyone on the other side won't see you. Also, I agree, take the map if it is better than yours.

You should check that map, then charge in the top room to surprise anybody that might be in there.

Read the paper above the shelf, also take the two grenades. But first, look at the damaged thin on the top left. Does it look dangerous? Maybe like a weapon? Or is it only a damaged lamp or camera? If it looks dangerous just leave.
Hey, is that a coffeemachine on the shelf?

Examine everything in the new room: look out the window, is that anothe med kit?, look at the 2 items on the lower shelves, look at the paper on the wall, are there any papers in the in/out sorter?, is there any liquid left in the coffee pot?, does the electricity to the coffee pot still work (can you turn the pot on?). Close the door beheind you as you examine the room.
