"We have to find her before we do anything, and I am trying to find out if she is evil or if that guy just pissed her off and earned what he got." (retroactive text to the casting of detect evil)

Cade rolls his eyes at Kaliss as the first things he does to the dead person is to take the armor and weapons from him and then offer his soul to his god. And the talk about strenght. When Cade notices he puts any coins he find to the side of the road, he will stealthly pass by it and snatch it up on the way, hopefully without people noticing him doing so. He also awaits to see if there should be anything else of interest on the dead man.
Cade also stays near the wagon trying to stay as hidden as possible from now on.

Kaliss, since he looks around for the witch and even tries to smell her, might notice the halfing. But even if he could smell or see the halfling, he would decide to let him do his thing. If the witch was there, maybe cause she hid when the group arrived, she would have seen he did not take the coins. And if she was not, then she obvioulsy had no interesst in them or at least not in coins not given to her willingly. Kaliss heared that is important for some kinds of witchery. Or was it demon conjuration? He wasn't totally sure.
"If one of you little ones wants the chainmail, I can break the rings so you can wear it. Might still be too wide, but at least the length then would be ok." He offers, once he returned to the cart.
Spot or Survival to notice him (both +4), not sure cause I am not sure if smelling something is part of spot.

Anyway: 14.

Kaliss takes a closer look at the dead man. Yea he's dead. He than casts detect evil but doesn't see a trail or anything to show which direction the witch want. ( detect evil doesn't normally work like that.)
He than sorts through the mans armor and weapon. Their is some money ( 30 gp.) which he puts to the side of the road. Shiro shakes his head as he takes off the breastplate from the dead man. " Stealing from a witch now...You are bold. She'll be back and when she sees the body is looted she'll know someone was here and stupid enough to steal from her. But what do I care? I paid the toll I should be fine."
Kaliss also takes a few sniffs but doesn't smell anything.
Then he begins to pray. "I know not why you lie here, defeated, but if the human tells truth, I got an idea. I see you lacked strength, either to withstand magic or treachery. I cannot tell if you did earn a place on Zzz everlasting feast on his grand table. Maybe he even finds your heart strong enough, I cannot tell. But even if you did not, Zzz events grants those a place in his halls who failed to show enough strength in their live. You will have to serve as long as you lived if you failed, then he will free your soul from it's duty and you will be reborn, getting another chance to show enough strength. But if you succeeded, you can dine, brawl, sing, drink and tell your story or listen to those of the others forever. And if you are lucky, there will be even strong womenfolk around too, agreeing to share bed with you every night. May your spirit find it's way there."
With that said, he grabs some earth, spits in it and rubs the wet dirt on the forehead of the man, marking him with a Z, the symbol of his
" oh lovely, now we mutter a pray and spit on the body we just defiled" Shiro says with a grunt.
"Oh. So those witches kill stuff. I don't remember you saying that. Or maybe you did back than? Meh." Gendalr says.
"So what are our chances? we are a group of 6, how many witches are we talking about? 2? 3? I bet we can take them out in a fight. They can't be THAT powerful can they?"
" one witch unless were really unlucky. We should just leave instead of wondering if we can take one in a fight."
Cade moves smoothly over to the coins but Kaliss notices although he doesn't seem to care. He can swipe them at any point.

Cade quickly picks up the gold and hides it on his body. Not that what he took was worth the most, but at least it is easier to hide. He moves towards the wagon then (leaving an empty pouch if he got one.

Adrena looks down at the body and attempts to figure out if she can tell what poison was used on the human. She looks about for his weapon. "So I would say that we need to make camp for the night. Or do you have any better camping spot along this path Mercenary?"

Kaliss offers Adrena to help finding out which poison was used (if the spell detect poison works like that and not says "yes, there is a poison"). "I can cast a poison detection spell if you wish."
If she does not react, he will repeat it in draconic.

[ooc- I would have like to have posted before Theis acted but that is my own fault. Also I had a thought based on something Nerre said: can I use my armorsmithing skill/tools to reshape the chainmail to fit me without having a forge?]
Tokryn observes the others actions, maintaining his alertness, and watches Cade without making it obvious that he is looking at him. He will then speak to the group informatively but also to take attention off of Cade and then return to the cart to examine the chainmail. "If it doesn't bother anyone, we should at least stop to rest here for a while if not make camp. We have already tempted the witch, if she will come let her come. If not then the rest will help us to gather our strength to press on. If you do not want the chain mail perhaps I can make use of it."
Once he returns to the cart, Tokryn will approach Cade and speak to him very quietly so that others can not hear him "I saw what you did there. Give me 1/3rd of that coin later when it is less obvious and I will say nothing."
[Edit - My last stated action was maintaining alertness, and I am not assuming that my stating I'm paying attention is better than Cade's pick pockets. Im just assuming that stating alertness with him is like watching a magic trick: I actually noticed the coins put on the ground and then they arent there, so I know he did something at least even if I dont know how exactly he did what he did. I will be glad to have you do alertness and diplomacy/bluff rolls if necessary.]

Adrena looks at the Mage and the Cleric. "My mother serves our House as I do, though by blood she is human. She is considered <Blood by Union> by those who know my House. So I have no shame of my blood. As to those who would be <Kin> to my mother. If they live, we know not, for any home she knew before by father is either dust or an empty ruin. Though mage, if only those who can cast the arcane be of interest to you...then perhaps you should be a little more careful in who you dismiss..." She smiles wryly at him, a private joke in the back of her mind.

Adrena Looks about the body and picks up the mans longsword which unlike the other swords is not rusty. She tries to figure out what kind of poison was used. Kaliss aids her by casting detect poison. Through magic he knows that it was spider venom that finished this sod off.

People start to make plans to camp since no one objected. A fire is set and as comfy sleeping places as you can manage are made. Shiro keeps his distance choosing instead to sleep next to the donkey. He seems unwilling to go into the night alone although he seems incredibly nervous about staying here. He does walk up to Adrena.
" Gimmi the crappy sword. Since your so damn settled on camping under a witches nose you might as well give me a fighting chance."

She then takes the chain mail and places it on. "Since I seem to be the only one here who can us it..." Before taking a camping spot near the wagon rather than the fire.
