Plot twist: The spiders then proceed to slaughter every demon in the Abyss when one of said demons comes looking for us.

I was thinking more of those double crit fails on your attacks Spider. Lurn's spiritual guardians had all the spiders in not great shape, excepting the phase spiders. Two fewer spiders would have changed the tide.

Jaq and Kroshav's actions to heal their downed ally made complete sense.

The heal, yeah, but think I should maybe have left him paralyzed in retrospect. The fails hurt. Especially with as high as his numerical rolls get with bless and divinity.

Also those phase spiders were the worst, disappearing every other round was a pain in the neck.

Not a long rest but the short rest...hmm.

The first hour everyone was paralyzed and poisoned but you've all been out for more than an hour so I would say yes to the short rest.

Also speculations! So they are elf right? The elves that like spooders are drow so probably drow of some sort, may have to fight a drider later.

Just an early heads up, but now that we're fully vaccinated, the wife and I will be traveling to see family that we've not seen in a year. It's an 8 hour drive, and she's staying an extra week, while I'm coming back to work. Travel days where I likely won't be able to post at all will be the 10th, 18th, 22nd or 23rd, and 25th. From the 11-17th and 23-24th, my posting will likely be evenings and early mornings only.
