Bahaha! Seems a roast beef sandwich will quiet this beast then my friend! Thank you kindly. Kent pats his tummy referencing it as a beast with a broad grin. The more he thinks about it, the more he realizes he is quite famished.

Priviett looks at the robe when it's handed to him. "Oh, not too long I suspect! I'm going to put some powder on it, it will absorb the wine."

------------
Monty goes and retrieves Kent's roast beef sandwich, and then gets a cloth to clean some of the empty tables.

((sorry for that pathetic mini-update, I thought I posted that days ago!))

Priviett reads the note. "Oh, yes...my delivery boy is rather ill today, so I'm short-staffed. I've been quite busy in the back! Haven't had time to get anyone to run it out to him! Just a minute, I'll go and get it." It doesn't take long before Priviett returns with a carefully wrapped package.

"But while you two wait for the robe, can you help me out? You see...I plan to try out being a busker this festival, but it will be the first time for me... could you help tell me how my act is? Josie's rather useless at it..." he says, while giving a quick glare at the girl. Josie just shrugs and gets comfortable with her book again.

Calendil and Flacks arrive at the Casino. Going inside they find that there are a lot of people. It's noisy, and crowded, and there are a lot of colours. It's rather overwhelming for the two elves and they don't know where to look first. There seems to be a lot of people sitting at machines and pulling levers, people are standing around and cheering or groaning as different wheels get spun around, and there are crowds of people sitting relatively quietly around tables with cards out. There are almost as many people in uniforms walking around with drinks and snacks on trays.

"I suppose, but I do not know what a busker even is."

Calendil is both overwhelmed and mesmerized by the casino. He stands for... he's not sure how long. The bright colors... he never imagined so much in one space. It's a feast for the eyes, and his eyes soon feel overfull. It's a strange sensation. He remembers as a small child having discovered a trove of sweets meant for the whole village for a festival day. He'd stuffed himself, each bite a glorious revelation, until he'd started to feel sick. But even then, the lure of the sweets had been strong. Good greedy tongue had craved more even as his stomach had revolted, telling him to be repulsed. He'd had no idea it was possible to feel the same way about colors.

Eventually, someone bumps into him, jolting him out of his near reverie. It takes a minute to remember what he's doing in this place. But then the thought of the missing performer comes urgently back to mind. What if she's in danger? And he just standing here. But best not to waste even more time dwelling on his guilt.

He stops one of the uniformed waiters. "Excuse me. I'm looking for a missing woman. Who here might be able to tell me if she's been here?"

"I haven't really dealt in any non magical perfomances before, so I don't know how good I'll be to critique, but I guess I can give it a go."

"Wasn't the hypnotism non magical?" Aethel teases him a bit. "If it is a performance I will be glad to watch."

"Supposedly it was.. But there are ways to mask the magical auras. Going invisible wouldn't be much of a trick if a simple cantrip could expose them.
Mike shakes his head as he utter the last part.

ÔÇ£It is rather easy, no worries,ÔÇØ Priviett assures the two. ÔÇ£IÔÇÖve been practicing at being a mime, you see, but it is hard to assess how well I am doing on my own. It needs audience input, you see! Try to guess what I am.ÔÇØ

"So, what am I?" Priviett asks hopefully.

Calendil stops one of the uniformed waiters. "Excuse me. I'm looking for a missing woman. Who here might be able to tell me if she's been here?"

ÔÇ£A missing woman?ÔÇØ the waiter says. There is a hint of a restrained laugh in his voice, but he keeps a straight face. ÔÇ£Good luck with that sir, but I would suggest finding Mr. Silentfeet as he owns the Casino. IÔÇÖm not sure if heÔÇÖs here today, but if he is then usually the tellers know his whereabouts. They are right over there, behind that counter,ÔÇØ the waiter says helpfully and points to a row of guarded counters alongside the wall.

Calendil thanks the waiter and walks up to the tellers to ask about the whereabouts of Mr. Silentfeet. The girl behind the counter, who looks much too young to be working anywhere, says she isnÔÇÖt sure but gets her manager. A strict looking dwarf arrives, who Calendil can tell is a female as she is unshaved, wearing a purple dress, and has her hair pulled into a tight bun, looks Calendil up and down.

ÔÇ£Susie tells me that you are looking for Mr. Silentfeet. May I ask why?ÔÇØ she says in a polite but harsh tone.

Kent is really enjoying his sandwich. It's got all the right toppings, it's clearly been freshly made, and the roast beef is not dry at all. Yum!

((Wears, I took the liberty of sending you straight from the waiter to the counter, figured you'd appreciate one less step!))

"There is a woman missing. A performer named Ilsa Charmin. Hector sent me to find her. Maeloraed thought she might have been here. I was told Mr. Silentfeet would be the one to ask. Any help you could provide would be appreciated."
