Can we please get back on the topic?
He clearly stated that it was: self-inflicted pre-super villain insanity.
I mentioned stress from deadlines as an example of a possible cause, but we do not know anything.
And since there are very few case-studies with a negative outcome for his condition, we can only hope for the best.
Or does anyone have experience with preventing post-super villain insanity?

So... obviously I'm still going through some of the crap that's been... meh. It's impossible to explain in a non-clumsy way.
It's all very 'oh poor me' and 'look at my problems, they're bigger than Sweetums the Muppet.' I've written 4 versions of the blog. One version gives absolutely no info. The other 3, kinda make you want to punch me in the pancreas.

Okay, this is stupid. I'm staring at this dumb Twitter box for 10 minutes before tweeting. Here's the gist...

I don't know what you'd call it. A breakdown? Mental health issue? Pre-super villain insanity? Pick the least shameful one. It's all very humiliating and involves the lamest panic attacks and meltdowns I've ever heard of.

I've just started to dip my foot back online in the last few days. In the last 5 weeks, I've been offline and out of touch to everyone. I still haven't opened my email (with the exception of 1 email) or read my twitter responses or looked at the Goblins forum.

I'm going to clean up the blog some more and post it when I can. I'm just coming from a messed up position, where 2 weeks ago, I couldn't open the Goblins web page without getting all... weird. And there's no way to explain this garbage in a way that doesn't make me look pathetic, cowardly or like I'm aggressively clawing at the internet, trying for reactionary support and attention.

All 4 versions of the upcoming blog make one thing very clear. No one did this to me, except me. I'm not a victim of anyone or anything. There's no victim card to be played. I'm not looking for support, advice, criticism or insults.

I've felt like a fucking, trembling 4 year old for over a month now and I've been disgusted by it since day 1. So when I go into details in the blog, it's not for attention, to say 'poor me' or to try to blame anyone else for what is clearly an issue that is completely my own. The blog will be posted purely because you deserve to know why I just walked away from my responsibilities without a word for 5 weeks.

However, if you do want to offer support or praise, my wife @DragonTurtle, who has had every right to throw her arms up and leave, has been carrying me, without a single word of frustration or lapse in support. And as my blog will reflect, she is the strongest human I have ever met.

Also, at the peak of my... well... confused, nauseous, angry, weirdness... I drew something. It's the most messed up thing I've ever drawn. It's a twisted depiction of how I felt and not something I could have drawn, were I in a healthier frame of mind. I'll post it w/ the blog.

I don't think that picture he showed suggests that this is a prank. If it is, that would be a first. Not to mention an awful risk, seeing how he makes money from the comic, and a prolonged absence will eventually cause it fail.

A good news for those who wait for Goblins: Alternative realities card game. I've just received a message from Kickstarter, confirming that the process still continues:

"This one is short and to the point. I know you are wondering about the game. It's not ready yet. I'm looking at getting another crack at playtesting it in the next few weeks. If all goes well with this (keep your fingers crossed) Rich and I should be able to set out a timeline for the next steps.

This is taking much longer than we had hoped, and I sincerely appreciate your support and your patience. As absolutely soon as possible, we will press the "done" button on the design phase and move on into production. "

You mean vigil and have you read the twitter? He did say he was going to post a blog, but didn't say anything about when or even 'soon' or any specific timeline or make any other promises.

That's it.. I've reached my limit as a calm, sedate individual and have crossed into 'thoughtful anger' territory... I can't really blame this post specifically, as I've read too many similar ones over the last month.

Some don't like that the comic is never on time? Fine... Some don't want to wait for THunt to figure out his issues? Fine... Some feel THunt owes them something? Fine... Some have an opinion that makes it difficult for them to continue supporting THunt? Fine.... Leave. Don't read the comic or visit the forum any longer.

Some of you think THunt's supporters are boot lickers, and that he's a whiny diva (or whatever)? I disagree; though maybe you're correct and this isn't the right comic and forum for you? Clearly, we're not the sort of individuals you want to associate with, so the decision SHOULD be easy for you. Walking away is the best course of action, if in fact you're a sensible adult.
