It doesn't have to uniquely identify them, though. (I probably shouldn't have used that word in my previous comment.) All that matters is that PsiMax be attacked by something related to that number. That's all we know. The rest is guesswork on our parts.Moroser wrote:The first number is a counter (and there is a chance of some other alt-verse being at the same counter stand, so it's not unique), the second one is a constant, which is usually easier to handle.WearsHats wrote:Furthermore, 1,982,771 does uniquely identify our FMK as much as 156. I don't see how "an individual from reality arbitrarily designated by the Maze as 156" is any more or less direct than "an individual who is currently on his 1,982,771st run through the Maze." I don't see any reason Psimax would be less vulnerable to being attacked by the one rather than the other.
Granted, the number will change if the maze resets. But that doesn't matter. What matters is that PsiMax needs to be defeated now, this time. Before the maze resets.
So if 156 would have worked (if not for that number being fundamental to something else) then 1,982,771 should also work. It's a numerical attribute which applies to "our" MinMax in a specific, non-arbitrary way.
