GAL: Quest 2 - (completed-please move)

"I can't get in here... I'm going to try and catch a fish with this equipment, while you're doing that."

All sets up the fishing rod. If she catches a fish, she will be ready with her knife so that it doesn't bite her when she reels it in.

Schnitzel will ask All if he could borrow the flint stones and steel knife in order to make a fire. If she hands them over he will attempt to light the fire. Otherwise he will continue painting until the purple fruit is entirely red.

"Yes, help yourself. I'm going to keep this fishing rod for when we go back though, if I can carry it back. Maybe I can catch fish near the tavern and cook them for everyone."

Steals will move to the other side of the lake and attempt to carefully cross the rocks going behind the waterfall

Turn 6

"I can't get in here... I'm going to try and catch a fish with this equipment, while you're doing that."
"can I borrow the flint stones and steel knife in order to make a fire.
"Yes, help yourself. I'm going to keep this fishing rod for when we go back though, if I can carry it back. Maybe I can catch fish near the tavern and cook them for everyone."

All Then set up the fishing rod, attaches one of the grubs and casts, and very quickly there is a tug on the rod, this time however when she pulls it up the grub is gone but no fish.

Taking the flint and steel knife Schnitzel begins to try and make a fire, it takes a little longer than expected and he only gets a few sparks going this turn.

Steals walks around to the other side of the waterfall and with some more rock hopping manages to get behind it and is surprised to find a cave

"What's in the cave?" she shouts through to Steals.

Steals looks around the cave before responding.
"I found stalactites and a pool of angry fish. Get your rod and worms in here and fish them out. There is a chest beyond the pond that I want to search!"

Steals looks at the stalactites in case one could climb on them or if they could fall with the slightest disturbance.

(cant you go round the pond? I'm struggling with the perspective, but it looks like you can just walk up to the chest? It's right by you?)

All Catches an angry fish

Schnitzel makes a fire and

"What's in the cave?"
"I found stalactites and a pool of angry fish. Get your rod and worms in here and fish them out. There is a chest beyond the pond that I want to search!"

Steals looks at the stalactites and thinks some look quite stable but others seems to have cracks in them.

Back to a 2D perspective for inside

Schnitzel takes a long pointy stick out of the fire and asks All if he can have the fish.

He then spears the fish with the pointy stick and begins cooking it over the fire.

All gives Schnitzel the fish and goes into the cave to try and catch another. If Steals has a plan to get across to the chest and needs her help, she will help.

(i see where Steals is now - in the first image I thought he was right by the chest.)

Schnitzel transfers the small fire onto the cooking fire and as All passes he takes the fish off her by stabbing it with a stick and then begins to cook it over the fire.

All takes a long walk and joins steals in the cave and sets up again to try and catch some fish.

Steals stands around waiting for for all hoping she will remove the fish.

Steals will stand ready to grab any fish All catches and run it outside and give it to schnitzel for later cooking.

Schnitzel will carefully watch the fish to make sure it isn't overcooked. When it is done, he will remove it from the fire.

Schnitzel Finishes cooking the fish to what he thinks is done and takes it off the fire, its pleasant smells waft over the area

"I wonder if you could put a log or something across this pond to get to the other side? It might be quicker than trying to catch all these fish."
"Could be, but I'm not sure if the one outside can hold our weight without sinking or how we will get it."

All Catches another fish after a while of fishing almost falls off the edge when pulling it in but with Steals standing ready stops the move and bashes the fish with his stick to stop it from biting so it can be ready for transport.

Schnitzel will use the knife to cut open the fish along its belly. He then, using the knife again, cuts up the purple fruit which has been painted red. He tries as much as possible to dribble any of the fruits juices inside of the fish and when done cutting up the fruit, he will put the pieces inside of the fish.

Satisfied with a finished meal, he removes the scales from the fish and then approaches the guard with the finished meal.

"Dear sir, I used what i had available and I have made you a fine and tasty fish, I hope you like it."

All will move back out of the way of the stalactites, and get Steals to move out of the way too, and then prod at the one that was above her with the end of her fishing rod, seeing how unstable it is. "I'm worried about standing here if these are all so wobbly..."

Steals looks at the stalactite as Alls mentions it.

"Sure it is unstable? To me it just looks like it got sprayed with blood."

Steals will move out of the way just in case she is right.

Schnitzel
Schnitzel prepares the fish ready for consumption and fills it with the juices and chucks of the apple and then approaches the guard with the finished meal.

"Dear sir, I used what I had available and I have made you a fine and tasty fish, I hope you like it."
"Why Thank you little goblin you're much nicer than the other goblin I see every day. It smells delicious.
The hobgoblin bites into the fish.
Wow this is indeed good, even so I wish I was going to get some of the wedding cake. Don't suppose you have some of that now do you, no of course not, they didn't invite guests.....Yawn...It been a very long day..."

As both goblins edge away from the Stalactite and All goes to poke it with his fishing rod Steals notices the blood blinked...to late to shout a cry the Dark mantle launches itself off the ceiling at crashing into Alls chest who drops her fishing rod and the sudden movement causes Steals to fall off the edge.

Schnitzel wakes until the hobgoblin falls asleep. Once he does, he will take his spear and move carefully into the cave.
