The wishing fountain - everyone can play

Boner catches the miniscule amount of food with ease. He responds with an earthquaking shrug about the wizard. "I know no wizard you speak of".

Stumbles reads the carpet descriptions and then follows them. The carpet springs into the air, floating a good few feet above the ground at his command.

Agrees moves over to the treasure room door and asks choices who then asks boner as to where they might go next.

Boner responds "there is another door along this wall, though where it leads I know not. On the far side of this cavernous room is a high ledge with a passage leading away from it, but where it goes I know not for I am too large to fit."

(so the forest is in a room? No sky above, where someone with, oh, I dunno, a magical flying carpet could fly home, if the knew how to navigate?)

Questions sighs and goes into the treasure room. "So does any one of you have a plan?"

"Feed these guys to Boner to keep him happy?"

[ooc]My previous character flew with the carpet all the way up in the treasure room, but found no exit, besides the doors which were burried in gold,and opening inwards....[/ooc]
Stumbles hears the dragons explanation, and flies in the direction the dragon indicated for the door along the wall.
"I'll have a look at this door along the wall, and if it leads somewhere..."

[thanks, Krulle, but I meant the forest "room"... ]

"I'm not about to commit genocide, even if these guys were trying to attack us." Questions replies to the suggestion of feeding all the nymphs to the dragon. "Besides, I don't see how that would get some of the wishing well water to the wizard."

(the forest appears to be outside, there is a bluish sky above you)

The team discusses next steps. The dragon whines a bit and the tantalizing thought of food and gives choices a look equivalent to puppy eyes.

Stumbles takes his carpet for a spin along the wall and finds the door that the dragon mentioned. The last 10% of door is blocked by sand.

"Starting to think that wizard is a turd."

"Hey you! If you get free, are you going to kill us? Look angry if you are." Choices asks one of the nymphs, looking into their eyes to see if they look angry or scared.

Choices tries to question one of the critters. It's eyes are trying to run away from the angry yelling be thing.

Choices will go around and question the other nymphs, any who seem to have murder on their minds get stung and fed to Boner.

The ones who didn't see you kill one of them are angry, but any of them that see it happen are scared.

You find yourself with a large collection of bodies.

Are you killing any more of them in the stairwell?

Sure, clear the way. Fly them all to Boner to feed my good boy.

Agrees will walk over to the partially covered door to assist with cleaning the sand away and opening it. He has seen the doorway before and thinks he knows how to quickstep there.

Stumbles flies back to the group to tell them about a door with a bit of sand before it.
While flying to the group and afterwards back again, he uses his heightened position on the carpet to see if he can discover a shovel or similar.

When Stumbles is near the floor, Questions calls over to him: "Excuse me, could you please check if there is a ceiling in the forest through that door, of if we could use the open sky and your carpet in order to get the wishing well water to the wizard? I'm not asking to take all of us with you on the carpet, I don't know if it will fit more than one rider, anyways, but if we get the water to the wizard and he's true to this words, our clan will forever be under his protection, so the sooner we can achieve that, the better."

She will then proceed to said door and very carefully begin to clear the sand from it, after setting both her cups down, a safe distance from the sand or any edges.

"Will gladly do so later, once I've checked that door."

Agrees, stumbles and questions scoop sand away from the door. (Stumbles doesn't find a shovel like thing)

It doesn't take long before the bottom of the door and a small area around it are cleared.

In their cleaning efforts they find:
4 rings
2 necklaces
1 belt
3 crowns
1 chest filled with sand and jewels.

Choices kills all of the critters blocking the stairway and feeds them to his pet dragon. Once blockage has been cleared he can see that the stairwell opens up at the top.

Questions uses the string of one of the necklaces to pull through all the rings, in order to carry them with her. Then she attaches the necklaces and the crowns to the belt, by stringing it through them as well. Then she slings the belt over her arm, so she can carry all of that without putting anything on (thus triggering any curses) and without needing any of her hands to carry it.
"If any of you want to try out - or use - any of these, please just let me know and I'll gladly give it to you. I'm just a little cautious after my 'shiny skeleton experience' and this way we can take this loot back to our village in order to have our teller take a look at them first..." Questions says to the others. Then she picks back up her two cups.

[Krulle]

"Hmm, if I ever get back home, some jewels to make my life easier would be handy." says Stumbles and pockets two or three of the shinier ones.
He also tries to open the door to peek into the next room.

"Good idea, Questions...I don't care to play with them just now. "
He does however watch and follow Stumbles lead and takes two nice jewels and pockets them.

He will back away a good bit when Stumbles begins opening the door.

Questions gathers up the the jewelry and holds onto it with the belt.

Agrees and stumbles both grab some choice gemstones.

They open the door, which creaks on old hinges and opens up into a large circular room that extends up and down further than they can perceive. A wooden stairs wraps along the wall going both up and down. The stairwell is about 500 feet in diameter.

Choices tells the others what he's found.

"I'll have a look further up and down, using this gimmick here." and sits on his flying carpet again, and flies the room upwards, checking the spiral staircase for doors or windows.

Stumbles takes his carpet through the door and then starts flying upwards. The doorway is quickly lost from view and darkness closes in around him.
How long will he fly upwards?

About 15 minutes pass, he's unsure if how high he's climbed but he still can't see an end to his upward ascent.

Stumbles decides it's too risky to fly in the dark, and wishes for headlights on his carpet.
He also starts his descend towards the ground floor, trying to fly as fast downwards as he flew upwards, in an attempt to not miss the open door he used to get in.

Questions will pick up a small rock or similar (if nothing else is around, a jewel from the chest will do), and lets it drop from the edge of the staircase, then listens for impact, trying to gauge how deep the item falls.
