I've gotten as far as the fourth map, but I'm constantly trying for the city of gold, too.

@Nerre: Ok I changed you to the light green. We have changed your color so often though, that I couldn't resist making your character "spotted" on certain parts, whether you like it or not... :P

Turn 2 >>Next Turn

White Metal moves to A7 and starts to dig! Just as expected, he finds a mine (DING!), but Stumbles around is there to save him, who also had the time to jump on J5, exploring a "2". +2XP
Schnitzel puts on the tokens, and moves to B9.
Blitz Craig hops downwards to D4, revealing a "1". +1XP
Flags Mines moves to E6, finding a "2" this time. +1XP
Goska spawns on C8, which holds a "2". Unfortunately, she can't play with the stick just after arriving. +1XP
Dies flags B7.
Tries-and-Dies moves to I6, uncovering a "2". +1XP
Oh See That Shiny spawns on A1 with all his gear, stepping on a "1". +1XP
Questions Everything decides that looking old columns is just as interesting as glow-eyed dragons. She moves to I9, revealing a "3". The columns are really, really old, and she decides they couldn't have been too tall, probably they formed some kind of fence to separate the noble cemetery from the "common" part. What a bunch of pricks. +1XP (+1 bonus)
Flags Fuses moves to F2, which is a "3". +1XP
A bit late, but Explore-Randomly also joins the game on F4. He promptly explodes, because these other amateurs don't know where the real fun lies... +1XP (+1 bonus)

White Metal sees the following tokens: Run, Warning, a red token with a corpse on it, a gold token with an imprisoned figure.

Stumbles un-equips Visions and equips greed in its place. He also takes his 10 ft. pole with him (additionally to the jacket and the sword) and spawns on B1 or A2 (whichever Shiny doesn't pick to move there). He also declares his rescue on Flags Mines (who digs up another grave).

Let's see what happens when I step on someone's grave. Do they get goosebumps? Do I?

E7.

Edit: And I will dig at the end of my turn.

Tries goes to I5.

I just noticed... Did spawning rules change? I remember that if not clarified, character spawns with all previous eqipment. It seems this is no longer true.

You spawn with whatever equipment you declare you're spawning with. Which saves you from buying the big expensive shiny thing, spawning on a mine, and losing everything.

Nope, it won't. But you could see what happens when you have 2 of the same tokens equipped... :D

@Gamecreator: I think you didn't specify any items to spawn with at start, and it has not changed afaik. I might have overlooked something, though.

Goska moves to D8, after which she spins around, attempting to dowse with her Y-stick. After all this, she attempts to rescue Questions.

Wears, nothing happens if you don't dig, so dig if you want something to happen.

OK - I'm officially interested.
I'll bet it will be some kind of 'stupid player' award ;)

White metal will take run and visions and equip 2xrun+visions before spawning on L9

Questions becomes bored inspecting what amounts to fancy fence posts and begins to look around. Seeing old animal bones she decides poking around them might provide some excitement and moves to J9 to get closer. Having watched Explore-Randomly just explode, she's glad that Goska has her back.

Digging is a free action. I can do that at the start of my next turn. But I think stepping on the square should give me a number. Which could maybe help me decide whether or not digging is a good idea. Or maybe, since these are special squares, it doesn't work that way. We shall see...

It wouldn't. The only reason White Metal exploded was because he dug. He wouldn't be able to dig if it gave a number just by standing on it. Further, Looks has specifically stated this.

"- Tiles with a "grave" in them count as discoverable tiles, but they do not trigger when a player steps upon them. To find out whether they are mines or contain a number, the player has to do a "dig" action"

Ah, thank you. I was aware of most of that, but had (obviously) missed the bolded section. I'll take the chance, then. And, to keep things simpler for L&S, I'll edit that into my previous post.

According to character sheet, there were some equipped on Turn 0. I thought they counted.
I'm fine with nothing equipped though. It's not like I can lose anything except potential coins by stepping on a mine right now.
