Re: The Island: OOC Thread
Pretty sure you skinned the owlbears, but the hides are too big for your inventories so they're probably in one of the mine carts. I don't remember you tanning them, but I might have forgotten.

thanks. It's just important to know if she has any more materials to craft with. I don't really care WHERE they are.

Just to confirm as it looks like we might be walking straight out of the mine again.
We can't teleport from inside the mine can we?

Because of the drums you mean?
Without giving too much away, you guys are now on your 11th day on the island and you know that it's going to get tougher the longer you're here (I said so in the intro pretty much). There probably isn't going to be a perfect time to go exploring any more

That's what i've been thinking for ages... but all those actions on defenses...
Maybe we should just say F-it and all head into the mine.

To be fair, those defenses probably saved at least one pc yesterday by reducing the numbers of tree people that could attack you all at once. I think that's pretty good going
Anyway, it's your call
good luck!

Re: The Island: OOC Thread
I reeealllly want to go into the mine and explore....but (and god damn it its a big but) I think we can't leave Write asleep and undefended as I feel when he wakes he will hold something vital for our final Victory within the mine itself. We going to need to wait until he wakes up and all go into the mine together and not come back out again until we're done.
I need a second opinion on options. I think we're going to have to actually defend for now and if we have time explore a bit of the mine after any fight.

Sounds fair enough. I only went back into the mine because y'all were doing it. Since there seem to be a lot of enemies around, I figured it's safer if we all stuck together. I'm up for helping explore the source of the noise.

Re: The Island: OOC Thread
Sorry I didn't reply sooner here, didn't see the text line as I usually just go straight to the game pages.
I'm guessing that Write will need to go through at least 6 dream stages, one for each stone, and then perhaps another for herself. I have no idea how long that will take her but I would guess at least another day if I can figure them out...
That being said, it seems like there are two threats now that may hit at the same time. The birds are carrying something other than mail and the drums are not a party. As it stands the cave mouth is the most defensible place. If more defense is needed I'd suggest getting more bat poop and putting it in the trench with tree people. Bat guano (phosphorus rich) should burn much hotter than wood and it should be a lot harder to put out - I will call that part of Write's back story
.
Write has some guano in her inventory to be used but likely not enough to work spread out in the trench. It could potentially make a pretty nasty thrown weapon if wrapped in some cloth and thrown at something/one.

Re: The Island: OOC Thread
I don't see what you mean? Do you mean in the cave or outside? The black thing by the cart (outside) seems to be the cloak?
I also don't know about the cubes.

Re: The Island: OOC Thread
Sorry, those are probably an art error.
I'll need to check when I'm not in my phone.
Do you mean the the yellow things in the middle of the camp and the black thing near them? The black thing in the centre is the halfling's heavy, hot cloak that treasures was wearing earlier.
I'll double check but I think you only had the 3 in total (silver currently has one, buttons has 2).

Re: The Island: OOC Thread
Ok the black bit is a cloak. Noted.
And the cubes i think might be an art error too.
But what is behind the cart?
edit: Looking more closely now, I think it could be the armour that belonged to the paladin esk person, is there anything else there?

Re: The Island: OOC Thread
Yeah, that's the armour and axe that the old human warrior was wearing. Shackled hid it behind the cart to keep them out the way at some point. There shouldbt be anything else back there, but I think you've got a plank of wood in the mine cart still.

Re: The Island: OOC Thread
It just occurred to me that we could use that halfing's our cloak to cover the glue mushrooms. That way we would (most likely) be able to pull the cloak off to serve as an obstacle to those following us. Thoughts?

I thought about that too when i was trying to build the weird chest tunnels. I remember correctly it might work a few times but then it would soak in.
