Ha! The implications of his ignorance without Forgath there as a translator go on and on! I wonder if he will ever realize....?

The irony is that now the goblins are going to be wondering if it actually works. And Herbert, being the DM he is, just might make it where it does just to see the players doing this.

Now finally I call it: Did Thunt ever confirm that Herbert is the DM? The first time Forgath talked about his god, I understood it to be a jab at cleric-players who spend a lot of time creating their character stats and no time at all creating their belief system. "Who's your god again." -- "Oh, his name is, uhhh, Herbert. Right, Herbert."

Now I know that later on Forgath claims that Herbert still lives in his parent's basement, but I'm still not convinced.

Here's a page where Forgath refers to Herbet as "Herbert the DM".

Sometimes I get the feeling that If I was a goblin I would be called "Chews scenery". I have no idea why people might think that!

Spliying always seems to get the same reaction from first-time viewers...

BwahahahahaHAhahahahAhaha!
Really.
This page made me laugh.
How can the Minmax-player keep a straight face when doing the splying with his new group?

How will he ever be able to explain them that his character's been fooled and to keep in character he has to do stupid things like that in a new group (and not just secretly abandon this stuff)?
Is he going for role-playing XP? He deserves a level in that by now!

So it seems that Fumbles is talking now? Not only talking, but taking initiative. I'm curious to see what the response will be.

How could I have missed that Fumbles does not talk?
Minmax's a magician. He pulled a talking Goblin out of the husk of Fumbles.

The first page Herbert is mentioned he is revealed to be the DM (by Minmax) >:?
On the topic of the new page: looks like Minmax and Fumbles form a good team.

He speaks! MinMax is a wizard. :D

Also the splying face is great.

Indeed! Although I wouldn't count on PTSD (or other disorder Fumbles had) being completely gone just like that.

P.S.

How could I?! I had plenty of time to look at it, and I just assumed it was Minmax speaking twice! :tfacepalm: How could I have been so blind?!

Reminds me of a funny advertising campaign: It's only weird if it doesn't work (note that it may start with a different commercial - skip that one to see what I'm referencing... :D

You (SpiderWrangler) translated the meaning "speaks" too, while normally a name does not get translated...

Hoi Spreekt!
Gr├╝ezi Spricht!
Moin Snakt!

Edit: ninja'ed. You should just so be able to understand the three above.

Speaks' ones are Ukranian/Russian, Russian/Ukranian (the other one then, I don't understand any language with that set of alfabet), English, German, and Japanese (with Roman alfabet).

Ukrainian has the letter "i", while russian doesn't. There is a russian saying equal to "dotting the i", which is made fun of because the letter is not present in the modern russian language.
Anyway, I am attracting too much attention, let's get back to the page.

Actually, was it ever discussed what disorder Fumbles had? PTSD comes to mind first, but it usually means painful flashbacks, anxiety and rejection of the traumatic memories. Fumbles on the other hand had apathy, verbal communications block and something resembling autism...
