I wonder where Moon K'tolo is located on the map...
If this is intended as canon, the events of this story take place between leaving the goblin's warcamp (as evidenced by his helmet being one horned
http://www.goblinscomic.org/01132006/ ) and FM arriving at Brassmoon City. We know some amount of time passed between the goblins leaving the city and FM arriving, though I don't recall if it's specified how long.

Yeah, Tarol said that the events of this story are "shortly before Brassmoon". I assume, they didn't go through the swamps of silence, but dunno. My bet is for Moon K'tolo to be on the road from Cactuu city to Brassmoon.

Maybe, although the scale is weird then, the bone lake from the map should be much bigger. The lake from that page was not too far away from the goblins warcamp. Dunno.

Yeah I don't think that was bone lake, just from travel time to the warcamp. It might be part of the marsh, or a small pond that doesn't show on the map.

Hmm. Going back, it looks like you're right that it's not Bone Lake. Complains does call it
a lake, so maybe it's just a very small not-on-the-map lake? But Minmax & Forgath talked about the drow heading off toward the south end of the war camp, so presumably they weren't already at the south end.

Every time I see that map, I am tantalized by the compulsion to try to figure out elevations and water flows in my head. I can't do it.

Hm, for me this angry-couple-shouting-at-each-other-from-male-perspective read now a lot different back when i read the story in the prined book. Which is, long before i read Lundy Bancroft...
I hope i won't shove this topic in the longwinded direction that not-walter discussion took by this comment ._.

No, because Funky Monkey is a name, see, so it's exempt...

Looks like a minor oversight.

She's got collarbone boob-globes just like Greena, which I find myself noticing more often now. I'm glad it's not quite so standard in the modern comic pages (equally because most of our characters are guys, just as much as any art-change)

The expression on her face in the last panel as Minmax is throwing the rock, is priceless !

And 18 GP is a bargain.
They did not hang him for damaging the statue?
Or might that come once the fee for killing the Yak has been paid?
(Let's see how much money we can extort from these two adventurers?)
In my younger years, when I was drunk the damages I did mainly concerned myself (and once my now-wife).
Nothing that disgraceful... Did I miss out on stories for my grand-kids?

I would have left Minmax there & told the Judge(s) to make sure he serves the entirety of his sentence without any possibility for parole &/or early release for "good behaviour" (not that it could be likely to happen).

Why do you value damaging the statue as the worse crime than killing the yak?
(there is no literal "the end", but that was the last page. The bonus story feast is over.)

If the statue was in honor of an Elven hero, the are usually more dire consequences...
I undertsand that in most depictions, the Elves value live very highly, and that the killing the Yak can therefore be considered to be the worse crime.
But apparantly Minmax got no punishment for destroying the statue at all....
But then, I also don't know whether the unit GP is a lot or whether GP arr flying around in this realm....
