Battlefrog emerged from it's egg!
Ok guys, as a player holiday is delaying the restart of the Clan Altogetha main game, I though I'd have a pop at running a minigame that's been at the back of my mind for a while now. The protagonist is Battlefrog, who hatched from the Amphibios egg that the main team prevented the Troglodytes from stealing for all sorts of wizardly nefarious purposes.
In Battlefrog, the aim of the game is to get from one side of the maze to the other, collecting treasures along the way, in a limited number of moves. Anyone can control the Frog, by submitting a command in the form of a direction and a number, for example, Left 4, which would unsurprisingly move Battlefrog four steps to the left. When the game is updated, I'll roll randomly to determine which submitted move is used. As it's considerably less challenging to draw than the main game, I'll be updating Battlefrog more often.
Now for the good bit.
As I mentioned before, there are treasures hidden in the maze, that are collected simply by moving into the same square as them. Any treasures collected will be given to a new player character who will be introduced at the end of Act 1 of Clan Altogetha, and chosen from the list of people who have submitted a move for Battlefrog, (successful or not)! If you'd like to go in to the draw, please say so in the first post you make in the thread.
Battlefrog can only move in straight lines, and cannot move in diagonals.
There are also enemies in the maze, which, if engaged, will reduce the number of moves that Battlefrog has left.
Without further ado, let the game begin!
