On a completely unrelated note, I want my bardic inspiration back.

Whelp. It took him almost 3 years, but Spider finally nailed one of us with a permadeath. Huh. I always figured it'd either be Randy, Holger, or Zephyr that'd bite it first. Of course, Zephyr is on indefinite holiday in the dwarven tower....

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
I had Maji higher up on the list than Holger, but I might be a tiny bit biased..
A shame with Maji though, I liked the conflict he brought, but Holget likely won't be super sad about this turn of events as he was the most likely to be in the way of Holgers personal goal.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Did Dornikal get a chance to attune the new hippy bracelet? He put it on but I'm not sure what I said about attuning it.
Edit: looking back it appears that the only time to have attuned it would have been at the inn right after they got back. I am not sure of the timeline there before Dornikal and Randy (and most everyone else) headed out to look at the supposed murder spot. He had time for a beer at least but probably not enough to attune anything. Right?

Could have done that if you needed to while Randy was healing folks.

Sooooo Maji had all of his coin on his person, along with his magic items and other random stuff. Those monsters took your loot!

It grants +5 AC and immunity to abomination attacks. And flying, at will !
+1 con to poison saves and 1d4 poison damage reduction.

That's just too much. The poison stuff has to go.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
I mean, it'd still be at-will flying, which would still be rather OP
Though I'm pretty sure an item like that already exists in some capacity.

Since Tess tried to walk past the four guards in the alley, I'm assuming there was a miscommunication earlier... Thinks, do you want Tess to have run to caught up once it was clear that the boys were going past a guarded checkpoint?

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
...Oh. I thought everyone (including guards) went inside the sewer...
Nah, I was going to have Nem try and do her thief thing up top for a while, but ooc, you've tried to bring her back to the main group twice now so I'm not sure it's heading on a particularly productive tack
I don't know. I wasn't planning on having her go too, but she hasn't learned a great deal on her own from wandering the city last night and I'm guessing it's still a while until she meets those kids who think there's a witch in town?

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
The new guards that the boys tagged along with went down, those guarding the alley are still there to keep out civilians and to be able to sound an alarm in case whatever was down there gets around or through the squads sent down.
Well, part of holding off on dealing with the kids was that would be moving you ahead in time relative to the rest of the party, and since you're all in the same city, it could lead to awkward crossing of things. But at this point, they'll be occupied until sunset, so you can go threaten some children if you'd like. You could also check in with your contact to see if there are more details than what he was able to convey with that bit of crossed out poetry. If you wanted to do that, there'd be time to make it back to the bakery before sundown.

Yeah that sounds good, she'll recall Ily and head off to see him then, and won't bother trying to get through guardpost. Sorry - I wasn't really following the stuff the others have been doing except in broad strokes, so I'm behind on the details

Yeah, I was probably relying on past descriptions when you got there, the sort of thing that works sitting around a table, but not so much on forums!

Damn right he is, saving the city from monsters and avenging his friend and the lost guards!
Actually I've been wondering if Burns is getting the Dornikal treatment or is out for good

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Actually, with all the body snatching going on, I've been a little worried about running into "Undead Maj". Randy is pretty cosmopolitan in his attitudes, but he'd probably draw the line at something that craved fresh brains or blood all the time.
...
...
...
Of course, now that I think about it, that actually wouldn't be all that different from what Maj was like anyway.
