But Randy rolled arcana, not detect magic... Either way, if holder says it's magic, she's happy to believe him and just do the Identify ritual to get all the info (rather than just the school).

True. I was hoping to see if it looked like anything described in his temple's library. And it does cost him a spell slot to detect.

Not worried about the damage, just the aspect that immolating yourself was more than enough the first time around, even though I'll survive both just fine now

Honestly, Dornikal would eat an egg. He has a high con so he has around a 50/50 shot. It is the summoning a mummy lord that I find most disturbing.

Yeah, the egg is a no brainer for Holger. It's a proficiency save and he has advantage from tide of chaos if timed well, like after a long rest.
