Dorkinal's new sword slides through the chitinous exoskeleton pretty easily, but nothing noteworthy other than that.

Somehow you pass the hour without any of the creatures coming to inspect the spilled fluids and charred husk of the one you killed. Must be none were headed out in that direction.

You're not able to discern any weaknesses, but you do note that the front pair of legs end in jagged spades that probably wouldn't feel good to get hit by, but also might allow these creatures to dig and burrow.

((Creatures moving across it would be affected, or trying to burrow through, but if they are able to dig underneath, it seems doubtful the spikes would extend down to be able to affect them.))
