Oh God, I hope we get a backstory page for browgath...
On a more story-related note, do you think Minmax will somehow miraculously catch on that Psimax is trying to get him to draw Oblivious? Maybe he'll pick up the Axe of Brow instead, if he can?

Re: BROW
Yeah, well how about you add "June 11" to that smashing thread title?
Ôé¼dit: never mind that.
What does that last panel with the levitating PsiMax remind me of? I'm sure it's another reference, maybe a movie, but I can't grasp it...

Anybody else look at PsiMax's new arm thingy and picture him as a villain on Yu-gi-oh? Or was it just me?

That is one janked-up Forgath. Is he from crazy-people-who-cut-their-own-hair universe?

That last panel is crying for a joke based on rewriting the text. Unfortunately I can't think of a good one liner now.
Also, I start to think PsiMax is a little too fond of splisk-ing stuff.

Hey man, once you have your first splishk, you'll be craving another... pretty soon you'll be spending all your monies to feed your addiction... Splishk is a long dark road that ends with you selling your body for one more fix.LooksAndSmiles wrote:Also, I start to think PsiMax is a little too fond of splisk-ing stuff.

Alternatively, the original text is a euphemism waiting to happen (sorry!)
That axe seems to have fallen rather too conveniently close to Psimax not to have some sort of plot significance...

Which is exactly what Thunt WANTS us to think. He's done similar things in the past. I.e. the barroom sword.HennaGaijin wrote:Alternatively, the original text is a euphemism waiting to happen (sorry!)![]()

He's given himself away. By saying "draw your sword" it becomes reverse psych (unintentionally, methinks), and Minmax isn't going to draw his sword just to please the Fartbreath Dinkface.

I hope Minmax rushes him like he's going to draw the sword, but instead gives Psimax an Improved Unarmed Attack right in his dink face.

Anyway, remember the Red Helmets we glimpsed through one of the Oblivious holes? We all obsessed over them and assumed that they were immune to psionics because there was no way they'd be one-shot alt-groups that appear once and are totally irrelevant to the plot.

http://www.goblinscomic.org/03022010/ This sword was placed here by Thunt, so that when Minmax's sword was shortly broken, the forum exploded with excitement that he would grab the mounted weapon.Glemp wrote:I'm sorry, the what?Zwums wrote:Which is exactly what Thunt WANTS us to think. Hmn...where have I seen a scene similar to this?

There are worlds out there where the sky is burning...where the seas sleep and the rivers dream. People made of smoke, and cities made of song. Somewhere there's danger. Somewhere there's injustice. MinMax has a low INT. But is he foolish enough (low WIS) to do what PsiMax tells him to?

Re: 10th June 2013: BROW
MM knows he could be splished, and he hasn't been yet. And Psimax just asked him to draw his sword. I don't think you have to be too smart to figure out that is the ONE thing you should not do. I think MM is good when it comes to combat smarts, so I think he'll figure this out. Or in fencing terms, don't accept the open invitation.

I'm thinking Storm, from X-Men. I'm sure I've seen her levitate with outstretched arms, almost exactly in that same pose...Changes_everything wrote:What does that last panel with the levitating PsiMax remind me of? I'm sure it's another reference, maybe a movie, but I can't grasp it...

Re: 10th June 2013: BROW
I just realized how cool the title of this thread is!
1) Is it BROW like what that character says (short for Brown)??
2) or is it BROW, like "check out the brow on that dude's face!"

Well it depends on how well MinMax can defend himself against taunts, I guess.ThroughTheWell wrote:MM knows he could be splished, and he hasn't been yet. And Psimax just asked him to draw his sword. I bet PsyMax will just make the 'guess what, I just splishked your Kin' confession if MinMax doesn't cooperate.
I doubt MinMax can still resist the idea of grabbing his sword when he's all in rage mode.
