19th June 2013-Get 'Im
Ahh, I'm glad that things are working out this way. I've been trying to figure out how they could possibly stop Psimax, and this is about it.
On another note, the owned-by-a-demon Kin looks a lot like Biscuit, even in her dress and armament. Wonder what her story is.

Wow! How did I not notice him. He seems an unlikely ally, but I suppose when confronted with oblivion, it's easy to reconcile.

These alts probably fear no death, as long as they're able to reset. Psimax won't have time to liquify every one of them before they deal him serious damage.
We're all mad here.

Lot of love for CoralMax over on the left, are we thinking triton or something?

Yeah, but 3.5K is figuring out the machine. Pretty sure they can just open a hole in the wall.

And yet, Oblivious has GOT to be drawn. I don't see a chance for any of these alts to beat PsiMax without a superweapon.

I love the Demon-marked version of Kin too....:)
Edit to add:
I also love the aquatic Minmax on the left...
But I miss some "vanilla" flavoured alternatives...
Nearly only specialists ...
Oh, and Minmax #38 did make it to the tower room, without his Grinnorarcen?

In lieu of another late page, I'd take an explanation of the alts in today's last panel. There are 11 of them, so maybe 5 one day and 6 another.
I think Psimax's spish speed can't beat the action economy of a mass rush.
And it the My 3 Kins can maniplate the oblivion machine, I bet they can unsplish the keys.
So, looks like no more problems, just some clean up.

Now that's just impressive. Giantmax is not only alive but somehow climbed down the tower in time for this momentous moment. Personally I'm partial to seeing what Firemax can do.

I don't see why all these alts decided to stop fighting each other and start fighting psimax...

Re: 19th June 2013-Get 'Im
I hope that this isn't all that's left of the alts who are up and able to fight. I expect it'd take a bit more than a dozen alts to beat Psimax. Maybe the zombies will return in tome to act as a crucial distraction.

Because our Kin just used the PA system to let them all know they'd die forever permanently if they did not stop Psimax.ChuckNorris wrote:I don't see why all these alts decided to stop fighting each other and start fighting psimax...

Note the central Peg-leg/ringmax's shirt. It's a'screaming! I'm least happy to see Goldmax, i'd guess he's the least powerful. His shtick was Notwalter..... Perhaps his badger fighting experience will come in handy?
Biskin (biscuit/kin) intrigues me. So does little Trollgath. And weird tall blue minmax. I want atsplanations for them ALL

Definitely loved this development. It's not going to be pretty or easy (when has anything ever been easy for anyone in this strip?), but it is certainly going to be messy.
Betting time:
1) Will the AltGang bring down Psimax themselves without help from 156?
2) Will the AltGang kill him with help from 156?
3) Will the AltGang fight and get completely splished and 156 will have to deal with him alone, albeit tired and hurt?
4) Will the AltGang get effortlessly splished and accomplish nothing more than maybe giving Minmax 156 a brief moment of respite?

Re: 19th June 2013-Get 'Im
I mean, presumably there are limits on his telekinesis, even with the bonuses he has from trading in other abilities. I glanced at a D&D wiki, and the SRD doesn't seem to have a spell power that's just "lift a living creature with your mind and move them around," so there don't seem to be any official rules to consult, but I think we can reasonably assume that there's an upper limit on how many people he can target at once. And it's probably safe to assume that the more people he's targeting with telekinesis, the harder it gets to maintain it. It might even grow weaker due to the exertion.EatsAPeach wrote:And yet, Oblivious has GOT to be drawn. I don't see a chance for any of these alts to beat PsiMax without a superweapon.
And even if there isn't an upper limit, he's bound to run out of power points eventually if he tries to fight all of them. He is, you know, running a universe machine in another room.
So if a couple Minmaxes, Forgaths and Kins rush him, he might be able to stop some of them in their tracks, and maybe kill a few of them, but against enough opponents he'd quickly be overwhelmed.
On the other hand, Psimax can just, you know, teleport to safety, which is probably what he's going to do. Maybe he can even take Minmax with him.

I hadn't thought of that. I -like- that idea.ThroughTheWell wrote:And it the My 3 Kins can maniplate the oblivion machine, I bet they can unsplish the keys.
Gotta go with this; Psimax is minmaxed; I'm sure he can splish all of them before too much harm is done, if any harm is done at all.Master TMO wrote:4) Will the AltGang get effortlessly splished and accomplish nothing more than maybe giving Minmax 156 a brief moment of respite?

Re: 19th June 2013-Get 'Im
Ok, we have to name them so we don't get confused - from left to right:

IceMax (he consists of ice, doesn't he? Or what is that?)
TransparencyKin, or maybe KinWrap...
GiantMax and Forgath "H"
I believe that's an undead Kin in the background
Then we have PierceMax
GoldMax, welcome back
NeonKin
FireMax
DemonicForgath - okay MaskForgath, we don't know if the three clawlike fingers are really demonic, although they sure look a lot like Complain's fingers do these days.
And the last MinMax is a bit hard, shall we say SplitHelmetMax?

Psimax is able to splishk at least three things at once http://www.goblinscomic.org/01062012/, so things are going to get messy quickly.
