Reason: Merged the topics and changed the title to reflect it :)

I really like the shading.

Also, what is our Minmax doing with his hands in in tenth panel? Was Psimax choking him?

I believe so.

I'm sure Goldmax can handle him with the psionic powers unable to harm him, but how long before PsiMax realizes the trick and just splishes a floor out from under him? What happens then? Also, how much HP does Psimax have? That was a dang good hit, could well be the end of him.

Edit: Probably been said, but I just realized that Psimax gave them the key to his demise. He is the only one who we see referring to realities by their numbers, right?

I love the expressions. The look on Sapphire's face in panel 4 made me literally LOL.

**looks around for grammar nazis to claw** - yes I mean literally not figuratively.

Psymax's look of WTF in panel 9 is my favorite to date.

On a side note, if Goldmax does kill Psymax, what happens to the machine? Does it disappear, or stay for the Kins to play with it?

Sweet Herbert, it actually worked!!! I was all ready to see this one fail and they'd have to work out something else.

So, what did Psymax minimize to get all that psionic juice? I hope it was hit points.

GoldMax is one hell of a warrior if he survived the way to the Tower Room and the room itself with minor scratches most of which seem to be from the fight with the badger. I wonder if he will be the one to kill Psimax...

Maybe I missed this, but when, incomic, does the Kins learn that Goldmax's reality's number is 38?

logically it seems like a couple of blows (or even a single hit) should have completely wiped him out, super focused weakness and all.
but i'm not declaring him dead or even defeated until we see that -10, learned my lesson from kin

when they first meet psimax he says 'i'll release you or reality 38 will come through that door and kill you' or something to that effect and then they first see goldmax and notwalter a few comics later (mentioning again when they see them that they are reality 38)

I second this. And I love how in panel six possibly all 3 Kins (that can reach) work together to make this happen.

On a mostly unrelated note: I'm very happy that THunt seems to be comfortably able to keep up with his new schedule. (Link)

My gawds, how many XP will MM38 get for killing Psimax?
For that matter, how many will the Kins get? They did the innovative heavy lifting.

GO GOLDMAX GO!

Seriously. I like that he has a chance to redeem himself.

I loooove Saphire's face. I wonder how the Three Kin's are gonna work it out so that EVERYONE can leave the maze? I'm guessing they're going to try to do that... because I can't see them leaving GoldMax (well, they might, but our FMK group won't want to) behind now that he's helped in a big way. plus they'll want to go. And our FMK will want to go.

Well, with all these happy people leaving together, no one will get to take very much loot.

I wonder what happened to the Kin verbosity? Shouldn't they be suffering from exponentially redundant vocabulary? Especially when there's complicated maths involved; they should probably be finding non-trivial zeroes of the zeta function :P

so, a question: If Goldie picks up a weapon off the floor and uses it to clobber PsiMax, would it affect him? the weapon would belong to it's own reality, but being used by Mr. 38....

And now comes the question: With the big evil slain, what greater evil will come to take it's place? Because this maze is far from over.

I want to guess it's something to do with the arms that makes him want true oblivion. Or maybe the kinship can proceed with getting power hungry.

There's still that big grey statue-thing in the treasure room which might have something to say about more than one team trying to claim treasure.

I'm thinking that this isn't the end of Psimax. Not quite yet. He'll worm out of this, and we'll have some further confrontation.

well that's only when kin is stressed out, maybe they are all finding each others company very relaxing?

I'm wondering, did the attack merely not work, or could it have done more than that?

If he focused everything to that number so he has seemingly infinite power points as long as actions don't involve said number... doesn't that make him... you know... use a big chunk of his power points with that action?

Would this only be the second major "canon" event that suggests Goldmax found a way to game his character build for extreme luck? On his introduction here, he seemed to have successfully guessed not-Walter's name, binding an overwhelmingly strong ally at (almost) the beginning of the campaign. Maybe that just resulted from the infinite possibilities of the universe -- some Minmax facing Grinn would eventually have gotten the right name by pure chance.

Now, though, Psimax just *happened* to mention Goldmax's reality number to another reality that later just *happened* to be in a position to weaken Psimax, and Goldmax just *happened* to not be part of the first mass-liquefaction spell cast in the tower room, so he's in a position where his number, the only one known to 3.5k, just *happens* to conform to the requirements to weaken Psimax, which just *happens* to give him a chance at escaping Psimax's omni-oblivion plot, whether he escapes the maze on this run or some subsequent replay...

Just saying, it's looking like the power of Oblivious-wielded-by-Minmax can't hold a candle to Goldmax's innate(?) good fortune here.
