Thunt showed us a preview of the upcoming page and talked about it in the live stream. He expected we'd call this guy BladeMax. I'd be tempted to call him MinMaximum Carnage, which made him laugh. But he says his preference is BlenderMax. We can still choose whatever name we want. (The character's actual name is, of course, Minmax.) But I say we give this one to Thunt.

haha.. from that I'd want to call him SpiderMax. Not because he looks like Spiderman. but because he looks like a giant creepy metal spider!

Looks like a combo of Minmax and Mr. Fingers to me.

I think the similarities to Mr. Fingers will disappear when it's colored. I think Blendermax is cool. It works.

MinMaximum Carnage is, for the record, a Spider-Man reference. Maximum Carnage was a Spider-Man story about Carnage, a villain who likes to form blades out of his body.Here's a pic of him from that story.

Oh, and now that you mention it, Lin, Spider-Man did have a costume with creepy metal spider legs for a while. It was built for him by Tony Stark.

But, yeah, BlenderMax works for me.

ETA: If you image search "Shrike", it'd be the pointy monster, not the bird, that I'm referring to.

Come on, I couldn't let that one go without a stake comment. Even if it did feel a little wooden.

Well my initial reaction was "holy crap, he does look like Carnage!" But if Thunt wants BlenderMax, so be it, AFAIAC.

How about Cuddlemax? Because he looks like he cuddles to win.

I was thinking of http://www.goblinscomic.org/02122006/ when I saw this preview. It looks like a mix of MinMax and the SoW when it itransforms to this little puppy.

Ooh, I can't wait to see this one colored in! I'm willing to bet he'd live up to the name Blendermax, so my vote goes with that one.

So where did Mr Cuddles come from? Have we seen him before? And is there any info or guesses on where he came from? I can't get he live chat so apologies if I've missed it all already.

Psimax will teleport out of there, our Minmax will say "You BLEW it!" to Goldmax turning his armor blue. Then pointy there will barge into the room.

If I'm correct in that it would be the first time ever with this comic lol.

Also, MinMax kinda looks like he was fused with the Owlbear from Brassmoon.

Y'know that seems pretty likely. Next time minmax draws his sword, his armor is blue, and he knows not to draw it when psimax is around. Everything fits.
