I think Kore is a dwarf. We have seen multiple clues that he is, and no clues that he isn't. I don't think that Kore is the dwarf that kills Forgath, but to be honest I'm just desperately hanging on to tiny clues from THunt that Forgath might live, and those are probably meant to fool hopeful fools like myself.

It says he dies in battle with another dwarf, not that he is killed by another dwarf. Either way though, he's still dead. If I where a bookie I wouldn't even be accepting bets on him at this point.
