Also in other news: is it me, or is the countdown clock frozen? Might just be a glitch on my computer. Wanted to know if anybody else has had the same problem or noticed.

Oh, that was me. Sorry. I snuck over and trapped Thunt in a bubble of frozen time so that he'd be able to relax for a bit. It should pop soon, but it's hard to predict exactly when, given that we're talking about time displacement.

Well, it's not the code. That hasn't changed. So it's the server-side which sets the "var update_countdown_secs = " in the page source code, when it delivers the page to you.
This might be wordpress related, or the general server-workload problem.
Maybe the ad-on which sets the "var update_countdown_secs = " has been stopped to ensure server-stability. I have not received any "Error 500" since the clock "stopped".
(BTW: In the browser the clock runs fine, just every page refresh causes it to reset to 303520 seconds ("var update_countdown_secs = "), 3 days 12 hours 18 minutes and 40 seconds ).
