Hmm, that paper dragon (Parchment) is graceful like a cat.

And nothing happens when the candles fall down?
Biggest disadvantage: the order of the candles might now be unknown...

If the candles can be knocked down then why not do that to the burning one? Even a paper/wooden creature can tip it by pushing the bottom part.

The morphing space and premise confuses me. The flames seems to be about eye height for Bowst. Idle is just about as tall as Bowsts chest. But she is about 3/5 as tall as the shelf? Half as high as the flame? Pepper was just a moment ago over at mrs monologue, pulling her eyelid, but now he is at the candles? Is Pepper cool touching stone now? Is flame a concern now instead?

Well, not too much really happening here, but I do like seeing the updates happening more often. If we can keep this pace, we may yet finish the story in my lifetime.

On page 3 2025, Bowst has to lift Idle so she can light the candles.

Apparently Dwarfs cannot jump, not even if they have rabbit ears.

Yes. I saw that. He lifted her so they had about the same eye height. That was quite comfortable for her to light the candle.

The flame is located as high as as both their eyes in this frame.

Idle is about as, or slightly taller than, Forgath, or about to the sternum of Bowst. She reaches the collar bone of MinMax. But when the view pulled back on this most recent page, she is about only half the height of the shelf.

Idle from a few pages ago should be able to quite comfortably reach, if not the candle, then at least the shelf.

(Concerning Idle on this page: From a standing jump, she is able to jump about 2/3s of her own body height. This is very impressive.)

Elli was momentarily thinking about "giving up on goblins and getting a real job" yesterday, and I can't help but wonder if maybe getting outside and working with other people might help in almost every way. More money, more socializing, less stress and pressure, it might actually help to improve her creative process.

The black and white headspace of "this comic is either my entire life or I'm abandoning it forever" is just not really reasonable. Even published authors from major presses don't have comics/writing/art as their full and only source of income. Even Gail Simone was a hairstylist as her day job for years. It's certainly no failure to have a job and a creative project as well, so why does Elli feel like she HAS to make this her one and only Thing?

Because it has become their entire personality at this point, I guess. And there's probably also the mindset that if they stop doing it that they will never want to come back to it due to the stress and pressure that this comic has probably come to associate with.

I don't know how much storyline is left to be told.
And if she has a fear of leaving the story untold if she starts focusing on something else.

Did she comment so in the live-stream?

(BTW: even A. Einstein commented, that every creative person should get a menial job to keep them busy, but not demanding enough to not let their mind fly.... His menial job was patent examiner at the Swiss patent office....)
