Naps will go over to the statue of Isode. ÔÇ£Well, I already have a shield of sorts, but perhaps these will be useful,ÔÇØ she will then utter a quick thank you to the statue before relieving her of her objects.

((Since itÔÇÖs two, if they turn out to not be a related set I may add whichever one I am least attached to to the They-Made-It-through-Most-of-the-Adventure-and-Just-Weren't-Here-for-the-Last-Bit Pot))

GAL:Q5 - The Fountain of Mud-honey -Turn 85

Post by Patdragon »

TURN 85

The three goblins collect an item from the statues, and are mild cheerful.
All add the book with a star on it to her collection has a quick look inside, the main contents is in a different language but inside the cover is a small signature saying - "My dearest love - live, dream and die and we will see each other again."

Steals heads over to the shield held by Chief Planner and takes this finely crafted shield, it odd compared to other shields in that its edges ar razor sharp, perhaps with some practice this could be used to attack as well. Looking around him he scans the area.

"Umm guys where on earth are we anyway? I don't recognize this part of the woods"

Naps heads over to the statue of the small human girl and take a very fine looking dagger and blue tear sharped gem, on touching the gem she almost feels a wave of awareness wash over her an instinctively she know which way is home.
"The guild is 3 days travel thata way!"

For you have defeated the puzzles of the trail, you have defeated the dead end puzzles, you have retrieved the book requested by the bard, you have defeated the final guardian and you have brought the fountain of mudhoney back to the realm.

Congratulations heroes, time to go home and collect your additional rewards.

The three of you eat your fill of mudhoney healing you back up to scratch and can do any final jobs/ activities you want before heading back on your way to the guild to tell the others and bard of your successes.

"If we can carry it we definitely should, but my hands are mostly full with this skull. Maybe between you, you two could carry the half-a-bee?"

All will take the gold skull so that it doesn't get forgotten, and if possible will carry the wing that fell off the big bee.

We can leave the turn order now and just post. So i'll say the big bee is indeed quite heavy and as naps had difficulty lifting just the half a bee. I'll say only the half can be carried home by to of you and i'll throw in the spare wing as transportable as well. Any more will be to heavy to carry.

Ok I will say last call for any extra actions and you can make your way back to the guild for Identifying and claiming rewards.

As a side note i know some things i would change about how i ran this by a little extra feedback will help me improve for the future.
What did you like? What didn't you like? what would have made the game better? any points you can think of really.

My own view is I did too many puzzles and too many rooms, but it was puzzle orientated, so a once off is ok but I will never do that many again.

The auto kick for Ask and Noland could have been handled better, on retrospect could have thrown in a random encounter for their walk home to even things out, but the idea from the start was this was a medium level riddle dungeon and failure to solve the puzzles would result in death or at the last door return to the start and i wouldn't have changed that. As in a way it did nearly lead to the death of everyone else which was almost to be expected.

Hmm, venturing back to get mr. crystal or did he return with the others? :P

But besides making sure to get him, I think we just want to take what we can of the bee and sell it as a trophy.

I liked most of the puzzles, but I must admit I wasn't completely aware that there would be that many and some of them really stumbled me. (I'm also afraid I took too much control during some of the puzzles :paranoia:

Costa or Tells would have the choice of the crystal skull being in their possession currently, but if neither of them claim it you can venture back the the entrance after you return to the guild.

Howdy! Just a quick note to let you know that I will have your characters return to the GAL HQ today in an upcoming update, but feel free to be in 2 places at once if you still have things to finish off here as well.
